“Most seminars are a waste of time and money. When I decided to get into the movie business, I didn’t know where to start. I called the Houston Film Commission and on the announcement was, “Getting Into the Movies Seminar”, so I signed up. It was on a Saturday morning and almost didn’t happen. (Note from Abiiba: It was 23 degrees outside and nine other people cancelled). Only two people showed up, Michelle Fitzgerald and myself. Abiiba decided to have it anyway and thank God she did. I took the instruction Abiiba gave us and ran with it. That was years ago. Now I have an agent, I’ve been in plays, commercials, industrials, TV talk shows and movies. One project was the MC Hammer Story. I was a Dayplayer with one line. Thank you Abiiba Howell, for getting me started in the right direction. Anyone who’s new to the business or needs a guideline, PLEASE TAKE THIS SEMINAR. Remember, you got to start out somewhere and what better way to start. Sincerely, Marcus W. Freeman.” Actor (Note: Marcus is now a Writer, Producer and Director, as well!) (Getting Into the Movies)
